Kathy Minardi
Since 1999, Kathy Minardi has served as the head of school at Aidan Montessori School in Washington, D.C. Utilizing her 37 years of experience in independent schools, she has led the school to full Association of Independent Maryland & DC Schools (AIMS) accreditation, while growing the school’s reputation and financial reserves. An educator invitee to the 2013 York Times Global Forum, Ms. Minardi also attended the International Montessori Congress in July of 2013. The four-day conference presented topics related to the theme Guided by Nature. Speakers and panelists presented before an audience of thousands of invited guests.
Kathy Minardi was also an organizer for the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Summit in 2012. The current vice president for the AIMS Board of Trustees, Ms. Minardi currently also serves as vice president of the Montessori Administrator’s Association Board of Trustees.
